A 5-magnitude earthquake hit Shawan County, Tacheng Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 2:42 p.m.on Sunday, the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) reported.
中新网2月22日电 据中国地震台网正式测定：14时42分在新疆维吾尔自治区塔城地区沙湾县(北纬44.1度，东经85.7度)发生5.0级地震，震源深度4千米。
据悉，震中距离沙湾县城约21公里，距离乌鲁木齐市区约160公里。
